A man was wounded Thursday in a shooting involving deputies in the Compton area.
The shooting was reported about 5:35 a.m. in the 500 block of South Bradfield Avenue, according to the sheriff’s department.
The condition of the wounded man was not immediately known. No deputies were injured.
