Firefighters Sunday knocked down a rubbish and vegetation fire that exposed a one-story, vacant commercial building in Van Nuys.
The 36 firefighters dispatched at 12:50 p.m. to 15701 W. Roscoe Blvd. had the fire out within 18 minutes of their arrival, said Nicholas Prange of the Los Angeles Fire Department.
No injuries were reported and a cause of the fire was under investigation.
