Firefighters Friday were working to extinguish a 10-acre brush fire in the Gorman area.
The fire was reported late Friday morning near the 35300 block of West Lancaster Road, according to the Los Angeles County Fire Department.
No structures were threatened, and there was no immediate word on what sparked the blaze.
