Firefighters put out a contents fire Sunday in the bathroom of a unit on the 11th floor of a 13-story apartment building in the Mid-Wilshire area.
“The fire was quickly extinguished and did not extend into the structure of the building,” said Margaret Stewart of the Los Angeles Fire Department.
Firefighters dispatched at 8:08 a.m. to 431 S. Burnside Ave. had the fire out at 8:23 a.m., Stewart said.
No injuries were reported and the cause of the fire was under investigation.
