One person was hospitalized Sunday after their vehicle crashed along San Bernardino Freeway in El Monte.
First responders learned of the collision, which occurred at 3:34 a.m. on the eastbound freeway west of Baldwin Avenue, according to Melinda Choi, a supervising dispatcher with Los Angeles County Fire Department.
At 4:07 a.m. the California Highway Patrol issued a SigAlert for one hour for the Nos. 3 and 4 lanes.
The person was transported to a local hospital at 4:09 a.m., Choi said.
It was unclear how many vehicles were involved in the collision.
The CHP canceled the SigAlert at 5:40 a.m.
