Two people were killed and another person was injured Sunday morning in a traffic crash on the San Bernardino (10) Freeway in San Dimas.
It was reported at 2:08 a.m. on the eastbound San Bernardino Freeway just west of Via Verde, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Witnesses told the CHP a black Honda Odyssey minivan collided with a white sedan and that two people fled on foot.
A 30-year-old woman and a 40-year-old man were pronounced dead at the scene, the CHP said.
At least one person was transported to an area hospital, according to a county fire department dispatcher.
Investigators requested air support to aid in the search for the driver who fled, the CHP said.
