Firefighters extinguished a grass fire Sunday evening that scorched about an eighth of an acre in the Sepulveda Basin.
The blaze, which burned near the intersection of Burbank Boulevard and Woodley Avenue, was reported about 6:55 p.m., said Los Angeles Fire Department spokeswoman Margaret Stewart.
No injuries were reported, she said.
Firefighters remained at the scene to mop up, she said.
The cause of the fire remained under investigation.
