At least one person was killed Friday evening when a vehicle crashed into a guard rail on the westbound San Bernardino (10) Freeway in Boyle Heights.
The crash occurred about 8:15 p.m. west of Soto Street, according to Brian Humphrey of the Los Angeles Fire Department.
Two people were ejected from the vehicle, Humphrey said. KCAL9 reported that two people died at the scene.
The California Highway Patrol could not confirm the number of people killed, but Officer Elizabeth Kravig said it was a fatal crash.
