Firefighters knocked down a fire inside a room in a Reseda house that spread to part of the attic.
The fire inside a home at 19601 W. Gault St. was reported at 7:04 p.m., Los Angeles Fire Department spokesman Brian Humphrey said.
The department sent 34 firefighters to the scene and extinguished the flames in about 15 minutes, Humphrey said.
The fire started in one room of the 1,684-square-foot home, then spread to a small portion of the attic, he said.
No injuries were reported and the cause of the fire remained under investigation.
