A three-alarm fire broke out Monday afternoon in a Gardena storage facility.
Firefighters were dispatched at 1:42 p.m. to the two-story storage facility in the 200 block of East Alondra Boulevard, near South Main Street, according to the Los Angeles County Fire Department, which had crews on scene by 1:45 p.m.
Within 15 minutes, the one-unit fire had spread to multiple units on the second floor, the department reported. A second-alarm response was requested shortly after 2 p.m., followed by a third-alarm response about 2:45 p.m.
No injuries were immediately reported, according to the department.
