A fire damaged a house in the Topanga area Tuesday and spread to some nearby brush, but no one was injured.
Firefighters sent to the 23000 block of Saddle Peak Road at 9:40 a.m. gained the upper hand on the flames in about 90 minutes, according to the Los Angeles County Fire Department. Some firefighters remained on scene dousing hot spots.
The cause of the fire was under investigation.
