A tanker truck overturned Tuesday in a collision involving at least one other vehicle on the southbound Golden State (5) Freeway in the Boyle Heights area, blocking all the southbound lanes.
The crash was reported at about 6 a.m. near Main Street, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Traffic was backed up while crews worked to clear the scene. It was unclear if anyone was hurt.
