A multi-vehicle crash involving a big rig on the transition road from the eastbound Foothill (210) Freeway to the eastbound Ronald Reagan (118) Freeway in Sylmar prompted authorities to close the transition road until further notice.
The crash was reported at 2:10 a.m. near the start of the transition road, according to the California Highway Patrol.
No injuries were immediately reported and details of what led up to the crash were not disclosed.
