Firefighters Friday knocked down a fire at a vacant one-story home in Hollywood.
The 28 firefighters dispatched at 12:13 to 5812 W. Lexington Ave. had the fire out within 27 minutes of their arrival, said Margaret Stewart of the Los Angeles Fire Department.
“The building was one story with a converted attic,” Stewart said. “Fire was located on the first floor, walls and attic.”
No injuries were reported and a cause of the fire was under investigation.
