A fire scorched about an eighth of an acre of vegetation in the Sepulveda Basin Tuesday and left two people with minor injuries.

Firefighters sent to the 15700 block of West Burbank Boulevard at 6:26 a.m. extinguished the flames in about a half-hour, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.

The cause of the fire was under investigation.
