A fire scorched about three acres of brush Wednesday near the San Diego (405) Freeway in the Sepulveda Pass area.
Firefighters sent to the area of Getty Center Drive shortly after noon extinguished the flames in about an hour and 15 minutes, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.
Nearly 150 firefighters were involved in the firefighting effort, including personnel from the Los Angeles County Fire Department.
No evacuations were ordered, no injuries were reported, and no structures were damaged.
As a precaution, the Getty Center Drive offramp from the southbound 405 Freeway was closed, along with northbound Sepulveda Boulevard in the area, the LAFD reported.
Some personnel remained on scene mopping up, and traffic was expected to be affected in the area into the afternoon, the LAFD reported.
