A three-acre brush fire was burning Wednesday near the San Diego (405) Freeway in the Sepulveda Pass area.

Firefighters were sent to the area of Getty Center Drive shortly after noon, and no evacuations had been ordered as of 1:15 p.m., according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.

Nearly 150 firefighters were working to extinguish the flames, including personnel from the Los Angeles County Fire Department, the LAFD reported.

As a precaution, the Getty Center Drive offramp from the southbound 405 Freeway was closed, along with northbound Sepulveda Boulevard in the area.
