A 64-year-old man who uses a wheelchair and suffers from kidney failure and diabetes went missing from West Covina, authorities said Friday.

Ernesto Alonzo Perez, who also uses a pacemaker, was last seen about 9 a.m. Thursday in the 1100 block of South Sunset Avenue, near West Merced Avenue, in West Covina, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.

Perez, described by deputies as Hispanic, is 5 feet, 10 inches tall and 180 pounds, with brown eyes and short gray-black hair, and also has a prosthetic leg. He was wearing a black jacket and black sweat pants with a black hat when he was seen last, the sheriff’s department said.
