A woman was killed when the compact SUV she was driving crashed into a big rig and a wall and overturned on the Glenn Anderson (105) Freeway in Willowbrook, authorities said Monday.
The crash was reported at 10:51 p.m. Sunday on the eastbound Glenn Anderson Freeway at Wilmington Avenue, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The 21-year-old Duarte woman died at the scene, the CHP reported. Her name was withheld, pending notification of her relatives. The trucker was not hurt.
The CHP issued a SigAlert shutting down lanes Nos. 2, 3 and 4 of the eastbound Glenn Anderson Freeway at Wilmington Avenue while an investigation was conducted into the circumstances of the crash. The lanes were reopened by 1:30 a.m.
