Authorities asked for help Tuesday locating a 38-year-old man who has been missing nearly a year.
Scott William Lear was last seen in February at the Wilshire/Vermont Metro Station, the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department reported.
Lear was described as 6 feet, 4 inches tall and 175 pounds with blond-brown hair, blue eyes and tattoos on his arms. Authorities said Lear was “living a transient lifestyle” and frequented transit lines in the Hollywood and West Hollywood areas.
“His family has not seen or heard from him,” a department statement said. “They are very concerned and asking for the public’s help.”
Anyone with information on Lear’s whereabouts can call the department’s Missing Persons Unit at 323-890-5500.
