Firefighters knocked down a building fire Sunday that displaced one resident in Long Beach.
The blaze inside a building at 2600 E. 55th Way was reported at 5:04 a.m., said Long Beach Fire Department spokesman Jake Heflin.
When firefighters arrived, there were flames visible on the front of the building, Heflin said.
The fire was extinguished at 5:20 a.m., Heflin said.
No injuries were reported and the cause of the fire remained under investigation.
