Four people were freed from a multi-vehicle crash in downtown Los Angeles that left at least one vehicle on the Metro Blue Line tracks.

Firefighters responded at 4:41 a.m. to the 600 block of East Washington Boulevard, near San Pedro Street, and safely freed four people, according to Margaret Stewart of the Los Angeles Fire Department.

Each had stable vital signs and did not appear to have sustained any life-threatening injuries, Stewart said.

Their age and gender was unknown.

Details about the crash were not available.
