Rail service on LA Metro’s C (Green) Line will be partially suspended this weekend and next weekend, officials announced Wednesday.
Service will be suspended both weekends starting at 9 p.m. Friday and through the end of service on Sunday.
Bus shuttles — which will run every 15 minutes from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and every 20 minutes during other times — will be provided at all stations when they are out of service. The J (Silver) Line Harbor Freeway station will remain open and accessible.
For the weekend of March 12-14, rail service will be suspended at:
— Willowbrook/Rosa Parks;
— Avalon;
— Harbor Freeway;
— Vermont/Athens; and
— Crenshaw.
Regular service for the C line will continue between Norwalk and Willowbrook/Rosa Parks stations, and passengers can transfer to a bus shuttle to continue their trip from Crenshaw to Redondo Beach.
During the weekend of March 19-21, service will be suspended at:
— Hawthorne/Lennox;
— Aviation/LAX;
— Mariposa;
— El Segundo;
— Douglas; and
— Redondo Beach.
Regular service will continue between Norwalk and Hawthorne/Lennox, and passengers can transfer to a bus shuttle to continue their trip to the Redondo Beach Station.
The LAX Shuttle G will continue to run on its regular schedule and stop at Aviation/LAX station, but other options to get to LAX include Metro Lines 102, 111, 117 and 232.
