A person was killed Tuesday in a crash on an offramp from the northbound San Diego (405) Freeway in Long Beach.
The fatality was reported about 11:55 a.m. on the Cherry Avenue offramp, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Information on the identity of the fatally injured person was not immediately available.
Traffic was routed away from the area while an investigation was conducted into the circumstances of the crash.
