A fire damaged a duplex in the Echo Park area Wednesday, but no injuries were reported.
Firefighters sent to the 1500 block of North Lake Shore Avenue at 8:58 a.m. extinguished the flames in 24 minutes, the Los Angeles Fire Department reported.
The cause of the fire was under investigation.
