A potential hazardous materials leak that occurred Friday at a medical office building parking structure in Pasadena has been cleared and was being investigated.

Firefighters were sent to the 300 block of Fair Oaks Avenue early Friday afternoon, said Lisa Derderian of the city of Pasadena.

The potentially hazardous materials dissipated at about 2 p.m., and the problem was regarded as an “isolated incident and no threat to the public,” according to a Pasadena Fire Department Twitter post.

No one was injured in the incident. The cause of the leak was not immediately known.

Traffic was routed away from the area while an investigation was conducted, but was gradually being let back through the area after the leak had been cleared, Derderian said.
