It took 16 firefighters less than 20 minutes to put out flames in a quarter-acre of grass along the transition from the Glenn Anderson (105) Freeway to the Harbor (110) Freeway.
The fire was reported at 6:04 p.m. on the transition from the eastbound 105 to the 110, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department’s Nicholas Prange.
Crews remained at the scene to put out hot spots within the burn area, Prange said.
No injuries were reported.
