Firefighters made quick work of a brushfire in Santa Clarita Saturday.
The fire was reported at 6:06 p.m. in a quarter-acre of light grass in the riverbed at 22220 Park St. and threatened structures, according to Los Angeles County Fire Department Dispatch Supervisor Miguel Ornelas.
By 6:26 p.m., firefighters reported the forward progress of the brushfire was stopped and they were working to put out hot spots.
No injuries were reported.
