Firefighters Monday were working to extinguish a fire that scorched about two acres of grass in the Lancaster area.
The fire was reported shortly after 10 a.m. near West Avenue L and North 100th Street, according to the Los Angeles County Fire Department.
No structures were threatened, and no injuries have been reported.
