A multi-vehicle crash in the south Los Angeles area Thursday left one person dead and three other people injured.
The collision was reported about 8:30 a.m. in the 5300 block of South Vermont Avenue, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.
The conditions of the survivors were unknown.
The circumstances of the crash were under investigation.
