Firefighters Tuesday were working to determine if a powder found at a library in Bellflower was a hazard.
The substance was discovered about 11:30 a.m. in the 9900 block of Flower Street, and the building was evacuated as a precaution, according to the Los Angeles County Fire Department.
No injuries were reported.
