A big rig loaded with vegetable oil overturned Thursday on the transition road from state Route 91 to the San Gabriel River (605) Freeway, blocking the road, but nothing spilled and no one was injured.
The crash on eastbound 91 to the northbound 605 occurred around 9:30 a.m., according to the California Highway Patrol.
A Hazmat team was dispatched to the scene but there was no spill, nor were there injuries, according to the Los Angeles County Fire Department.
A SigAlert was issued by the CHP at 9:47 a.m., but there was no immediate word regarding how long the transition road would be shut down.
