A man was killed early Thursday morning in a crash on the San Bernardino (10) Freeway in West Covina, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The crash took place on the off-ramp at Walnut Grove Avenue about 12:50 a.m., CHP Officer Moses Marroquin said.
The man apparently died at the scene. His name was withheld pending notification of next of kin.
The CHP issued a SigAlert after the crash.
The crash left both the on-ramp and off-ramp at Walnut Grove Avenue temporarily closed, Marroquin said.
The ramps were reopened around 5:45 a.m., according to the CHP.
