Firefighters Tuesday were working to extinguish a slow-moving fire in about an acre of grass near the eastbound Marina (90) Freeway in the Playa Vista area.
The fire was reported about 12:30 p.m. at Centinela Avenue, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.
No structures were threatened, the LAFD reported.
