Firefighters early Wednesday morning gained control of a brush fire in Del Rey that burned about four acres of grass.
A fire watch was planned through the night to ensure no hot spots remained, said Los Angeles Fire Department spokeswoman Margaret Stewart.
Crews were called at 12:04 a.m. to 13002 W. Culver Blvd., where firefighters found the flames burning toward medium brush, Stewart said.
Stewart said the cause was not immediately known. No injuries were reported.
