A pedestrian was struck and killed by black Dodge Challenger in Gorman Friday evening with the driver fleeing the scene.
Officers responded at 9:28 p.m. to the 45100 block of Copco Avenue, near the Golden State (5) Freeway, where they found a pedestrian lying in the street, according to the California Highway Patrol.
