Two firefighters suffered moderate injuries Wednesday while fighting a blaze at a boarded-up restaurant in Baldwin Park.
The fire was reported at 6:45 p.m. at the restaurant located in the 3000 block Baldwin Park Boulevard, near the San Bernardino (10) Freeway, according to the Los Angeles County Fire Department.
The flames were extinguished by 55 firefighters just before 8:20 p.m. The injured firefighters were taken to a hospital. Their conditions were not known.
The cause of the fire was under investigation.
