Firefighters Thursday morning battled a blaze in a one-story, single-family dwelling in Pacific Palisades — and Los Angeles Fire Department air operations was on scene to watch for any embers that might extend to nearby vegetation.

All of the building’s occupants were reported to be out of the structure, said LAFD spokeswoman Margaret Stewart.

Fire crews were called at 3:49 a.m. to 766 N. Paseo Miramar, where they encountered heavy fire showing, Stewart said.
