At least one person died Tuesday morning in Rancho Cucamonga after a hit-and-run collision, authorities said.
Officers responded at 2:13 a.m. to the San Bernardino (10) Freeway at Sixth Street, said a spokesman with the California Highway Patrol.
The CHP confirmed there was a fatality, but no further details on the crash were available. The cause was under investigation.
The westbound numbers one, two and three lanes were closed until further notice.
