Firefighters Saturday contained a less than two-acre, light grass fire that had been burning in the Sepulveda Basin.
Firefighters were dispatched at 12:12 p.m. to the 6400 block of North Balboa Boulevard, said Margaret Stewart of the Los Angeles Fire Department.
“A smaller fire, located just south, is being extinguished with the assistance of park rangers,” Stewart said. “An additional fire engine was added to provide a water supply to this second location.”
No injuries were reported and no structures were threatened.
