It took just minutes Saturday afternoon for firefighters to clear vegetation around an Elysian Park brush fire in an area that was previously burned.
The fire was reported at 2:07 p.m. in the 500 block of West Solano Avenue, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department’s Margaret Stewart.
By 2:24 p.m., the fire was contained, Stewart said. Firefighters remained at the scene to put out any hot spots and air support was not needed, she said.
No injuries were reported.
