Firefighters used hydraulic tools to free a patient who was trapped inside a vehicle that crashed into parked cars in Malibu Saturday evening.
The crash was reported at 8:21 p.m. at 20112 W. Pacific Coast Highway, according to Los Angeles County Fire Department Dispatch Supervisor Jeremy Stafford.
Once freed, the patient was taken by ground ambulance to a hospital for treatment, Stafford said.
Eastbound lanes of Pacific Coast Highway were closed in the area, according to the Lost Hills Sheriff’s Station.
The cause of the crash was under investigation.
