A vehicle went off a street and into the Pacoima Wash in North Hills Sunday evening, leaving firefighters to rescue the driver with a litter basket.
The crash was reported at 10:25 p.m. in the 15000 block of West Parthenia Street, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department’s Nicholas Prange.
The patient got out of the upside-down vehicle in the wash and seemed to have minor injuries, Prange said.
Firefighters planned to use a litter basket to remove the person and to then take the patient to a hospital for treatment, he said.
No further information was available.
