A roughly three-mile stretch of Route 79 between Dripping Springs and Vail Lake will be closed in both directions for about five hours Tuesday, according to Caltrans.
Route 79 between the U.S. Forestry Department and the Vail Lake Resort will be off-limits to motorists in both directions from 1 a.m. to 6 a.m. for a wide load removal operation, the state transportation agency said.
The agency advised the use of alternate routes, as there will be no access from either direction during the closure.
