Three women were injured Tuesday evening, one seriously, when a vehicle drove into a fourplex in Hollywood.

The crash occurred at about 6:55 p.m. at 1849 N. Wilcox Ave., at the southwest corner of the intersection with Franklin Avenue, according to Nicholas Prange of the Los Angeles Fire Department.

Two women were taken to a hospital in moderate condition, and a third was in serious condition, Prange said.

The cause of the crash was under investigation.

The building is among the rare remaining examples of an intact 1910s fourplex in Hollywood, according to Los Angeles City Planning.
