A pedestrian was fatally struck by a vehicle Thursday on the southbound Hollywood (101) Freeway in the Hollywood Hills.
The woman was injured about 2:15 a.m. north of Cahuenga Boulevard and died at the scene, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Information was not immediately available on the identity of the woman, who was in her 30s, according to the Los Angeles County coroner’s office.
The motorist, whose name was not released, remained at the scene and cooperated with officers, the CHP reported. Traffic was routed away from the area while an investigation was conducted.
