Firefighters Sunday put out a two-acre brush fire at the Hansen Dam Recreation Area that started as a rubbish fire.
The fire was first reported at 9:50 p.m. Saturday at 10652 Glenoaks Boulevard in a remote part of the recreation area, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department’s Nicholas Prange.
At 2:17 a.m., Prange reported the fire was contained and that crews would remain on the scene to put out any hot spots.
No injuries were reported.
