A person was killed Sunday morning in a crash involving at least two vehicles on the Pomona (60) Freeway in Monterey Park.
The crash on the eastbound freeway at Atlantic Boulevard occurred about 4:50 a.m., the California Highway Patrol reported.
A representative for the coroner’s office was called to the scene at 5:21 a.m.
A SigAlert was issued at 5:06 a.m. closing all eastbound lanes at Atlantic Boulevard for at least one hour, the CHP said.
