Two people suffered smoke inhalation in a fire at a one-story house in Quartz Hill Wednesday evening.
The fire at 4563 W. Ave. M was reported at about 8:10 p.m., the Los Angeles County Fire Department reported.
Firefighters extinguished the blaze by about 8:35 p.m., and two residents were treated at the scene for smoke inhalation, according to the department.
The cause of the fire was under investigation.
