Firefighters extinguished a contents fire inside a room at a motel in North Hills Sunday.
The fire at the Good Knight Inn Motel at 9247 N. Sepulveda Blvd., near Nordhoff Street, was reported at 4:03 p.m., according to Margaret Stewart of the Los Angeles Fire Department.
The department sent 33 firefighters to the scene and knocked down the flames in about 11 minutes, Stewart said.
One person was being evaluated by paramedics for non-life-threatening injuries, Stewart said.
